Max Duncan is an award-winning filmmaker, journalist and self-shooting PD making documentaries, reportage and factual entertainment around the world, with a special focus on social issues and the arts in Asia. His films have shown on media including the BBC, PBS, VICE, The Guardian, The New York Times and Al Jazeera. Now based in Madrid, he previously lived in China, where he worked as a video journalist for Reuters agency for six years. His work has received recognition including a World Press Photo Award, funding from Pulitzer and been exhibited at galleries including Tate Modern and the Guggenheim. He is a licensed drone pilot and a member of the Frontline Freelance Register.   

When he's not filming something, he can be found up a mountain, drawing or working on his Chinese or Spanish.
