Max Duncan is a filmmaker, journalist and director of photography, producing documentaries, features and creative video around the world, with a focus on Asia. His work has been featured by media including the Guardian, New York Times, BBC, VICE and Al Jazeera. Now based in Madrid, he previously worked for five years as a video journalist for Reuters news agency, based in Beijing. His work has received numerous awards including a World Press Photo Award, been selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick and exhibited at the Tate Modern gallery. He is a Pulitzer Centre grantee, and a member of the Frontline Freelance Register.
When he's not out filming something, he can be found up a mountain, drawing or striving to perfect his Chinese or Spanish.
